How can I use my Nokia N95 phone as a 3G-modem with USB-cable connected to my laptop running on Ubuntu Linux?
The Nokia N95 has the latest firmware, the laptop is about 4-5 years old Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 8200 running on the Ubuntu 6.06 version.
Assuming that Ubuntu can detect the Nokia N95 phone as a modem, I believe there are many good PPPoE dialers out there that will make things work for you – assuming that you also have valid Internet service through your phone’s provider.
